CPOA donated $300.00 to one of our junior
SCPO Humphries will be taking over for CPO Larsen as the CPOA Web Master. Thanks Bruce for doing a great job on our website. Have fun in Cordova,
Golf Tournament is in the process of being planned for late May or early June. So far, Price Ford in Port Angeles is donating a couple of great prizes. There will be more to follow as we get the dates and place set.
HSC Clark Bravo Zulu for the sale of Coast Guard Retiree hats.
No spring CCTI due to insufficient PCPO’s

Chief of the Mess – MCPO David DeWald assumed the Chief of the Mess duties.
Thank you to MCPO Dennis Luce for two years of service as Chief of the Mess. He will continue to hold his position as President of the local CPOA Chapter for the remainder of the year. Yo Diggity
50/50 drawing was won by. Jen Loudin, again, and she donated half to the MessMotion to adjourn and seconded, meeting adjourned at 1110.

OLD BUSINESS:
Holiday Baskets total so far is $267.00. Our goal is $500.00. When we reach the $500.00 goal, LCDR. Jelin will match it.
NEW BUSINESS:
CCTI and CCTI Dinner: If you are planning on attending please let BMC George Williams know how many you are bringing and what your dinner choice is, (Chicken or Halibut). He will need payment NLT 05 November so he can let the Elks Lodge know the exact number. Tickets are $25.00 per person and the menus is below. If you have already sent me an RSVP, please send me another anyway. Nov 30th, 2007Naval Elks Lodge, Port Angeles, WA 1800 Social Hour Dinner Chicken/Halibut, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, veggies, rolls, and cheesecake. CAC Cards need to be activated by November 2nd. See Tracy Boutwell with questions. Inflated Evaluations are an issue and need to be addressed. MCPO Luce will address this during the upcoming CO/OINC/CMC Conference. Jetty Cats, Don’t mess with them. When leaving the base, ensure gate closes and remind your people to observe the posted speed signs and no cell phones while driving. Casualty Assistance Calls Officers (CACO) - All E-7 and above are encouraged to attend the training scheduled for 18OCT07.

PCPO’s have requested MCPO (ret) Buck Ward to be the Guest Speaker at the upcoming CCTI.
OTHER:
Highway Clean Up- Not a good turn-out, although the 3 real Chief’s and PCPO’s got er done. We are looking at going back and cleaning the highway in the spring, when the weather improves. The one time deposit of $181.00 for the Foul Weather parka took place in September; it is issued at boot camp as part of the Sea bag. Please read ALCOAST 384/07 for more information.50/50 drawing was won by OSC Loudin; half of which she re-donated to the Holiday Basket Fund.
